The
North Atlantic Treaty Organization wants Russia’s defeat in
Ukraine, but has no plan to achieve victory. On 13th. May 2024, this
resulted from a statement by the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to
NATO, Jakub Landovský, and the 2nd Secretary of the Permanent
Delegation of the Czech Republic to NATO, Matti Tetřev.

NATO
Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, in a speech on the same day,
listed Russian aggression in Ukraine as the third most dangerous
threat that the North Atlantic Alliance must now face. He mentioned
China’s ambitions as the first threat, the war in the Middle East as the second threat
